Dr. Cem Türkgeldi was born in 1980 in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Türkiye. He is the youngest child of a family whose father emigrated from Macedonia to Türkiye in 1955 and whose mother’s family settled in Binkılıç, a village in the Çatalca district of Istanbul, following the Balkan Wars.
After completing his primary and secondary education in Fındıkzade, Istanbul, he attended Sultanahmet Printing Vocational High School, where he received specialized training in the family profession of printing and publishing.
Dr. Türkgeldi earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (English Program) from Fatih University in Istanbul. He subsequently continued his postgraduate studies at Wissen University in Switzerland, where he also served as Secretary General during his graduate education. During this period, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of his academic and professional achievements.
Coming from a family actively engaged in industry and commerce, Dr. Türkgeldi assumed managerial responsibilities from his university years onward, serving in both part-time and full-time executive roles. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions in printing, publishing, journalism, paper import-export operations, and investment management.
As a senior executive within the Türkgeldi family companies, he played a key role in expanding the group’s business activities, strengthening corporate structures, increasing market presence, and diversifying investments across multiple sectors. He has also contributed significantly to the development and public recognition of the group’s brands and media presence.
Today, Dr. Türkgeldi provides consultancy services to both domestic and international investors and businesses, specializing in exports, technology, logistics, business development, and investment strategies while adhering to international business standards.
